Additional Treks

Longer Treks

Shorter Treks

Tengboche Trekking  is extremely flexible and, as such, if you have a specific longer trek in mind than those listed, simply contact us and we will be able to help you.

However, there are two longer treks that are extremely popular :

Gokyo – Cho La Pass – Everest Base Camp

This is a wonderful combination of the Gokyo and Everest Base Camp treks, which takes you over the fabulous Cho La Pass and takes in an ascent of Kala Pattar. It involves 16 days trekking plus a day at either end for flights to and from Kathmandu.

Everest Three Passes Trek

This trek makes a complete circuit of the Solu Khumbu from Lukla. It is an epic trip, which joins together the best of the EBC and Gokyo treks whilst including two of the most rewarding side trails.

This is best walked from east to west as acclimatization is easier.

Starting at Lukla, you trek to Dingboche then Chhukung, crossing the 5535m Kongma La to Laboche, climbing to Everest BaseCamp and Kala Pattar, then over the 5420m Cho La Pass to Gokyo. From here we ascend the final pass, Renjo La and trek on to Thame, Namche and finally return to Lukla; a total of 20 days.

Of course, you will need to allow a day before and after the trek for your flights to and from Kathmandu.

Tengboche Trekking can be as flexible as you want. If you wish a shorter trek than those offered, just ask! For example, a lot of visitors like to take the 2 day trek to Namche Bazaar and then spend a day or two savouring the delights of the capital of the area or using Namche as a base for a day walk or two.

It is quite possible to return to Lukla from Namche in a day, or two days at a more leisurely pace.

Simply make an inquiry.

We look forward to hearing from you.
